You are delicious....and I love you...

T-day was....awesome. Of course, the night before me and Snappy get into it because he was acting like an ASSHOLE. But, after the smoke cleared, come to find out, he was extra nervous about hosting his family and was trying to carry the entire weight on his shoulders. Which was aggravating ME, because when I tried to help he was acting like a little BEYOTCH! lol.

Night before, he is making the turkey, stewing the beef and making the collard greens. I come home like what can I do for you right now? [because I planned on cooking in the morning] he is all like 'i dunno..' fine. FINE! Are you hungry? 'yeah...' well, what do you want? 'i dunno..' FINE! I'll just get you whatever -- and I head for the door. 'what are you going to get?' ARGHHHH!! I don't know! 'well, get pizza' Hell -- why didn't you say that an hour ago, douche bag? So, I'm like what do you want on it? 'CAN'T YOU JUST HANDLE IT!!!! 'Oh no he didn't. Did this jerk just yell @ me? Boy, bye! I take off, and head to my cousins house -- f*k your empty stomach.

Around 11pm he calls me like where are you? what time are you coming home? none ya' business and I don't know ::click::. Yelling at me...hmph. Of course I come home nice and late and he is still in the kitchen fighting with the turkey, lol.

The next morning, we patch things up {a.k.a he apologizes} and he heads to work at 6am. I emerge from my dungeon and start cooking around 10am...get distracted by the m.acys t-day parade...take a tv break...chit chat on the phone...and I'm still cooking at 6pm! LOL! Snapp comes home, like WTF have you been doing all day? haha! The families arrive around 7ish and I'm still cooking string beans and I forgot to make the peas & rice..... genius! All in all, the evening turned out awesome. Everyone had a good time and the mac & cheese was blazing *smile* And -- we still got 2 sweet potato pies in the fridge. F that. I'm sad that the red.velvet cake is gone ::tears:: Snappy's mom made it and it was DELICIOUS!!!! I ate the last stale piece last night... oh red.velvet, you are delicious and I love you! Seriously. More than fried chicken I think.

When it was all said and done, his mom was like this is the first time I've never had to cook on Thanksgiving -- which made all the aggravation worth it for Snappy. because that lil nigga WAS aggravating the hell outta me.. I even got complimented on my hospitality, woohoo! I offered everyone a drink - twice! I even poured it...ohhh, take that Martha!

I'm glad it turned out great. Red Velvet is the best, but that frosting is the devil.

When we do all of the work it is no big deal...but when they do a little bit of anything they act like a little girl in a skirt trying to slide into home base...umm yeah! It ain't all that hard. But I will pat you on your back anyways. LOL!
